You are my ice land on the sea of memories

I really like this song.

As many of you who have followed my blog or have gotten to know me, you know that I really like music like this. And, I wanted to share this one with you.

I’ll give you all I’ve got to give
It’s never too late to say I’m sorry
We have one life to live,
That’ll be the beginning of a great story
You are my sun in the darkness of the night,
You are my ice land on the sea of memories
You are my sun in the darkness of the night
And be my eyes when I lose my sight

I like your whispering in the dark
There are whispers of the past
You are hiding deep inside my dreams,
Dreaming the final dream, the last
I like your whispering in the dark
There are whispers of the past
You are hiding deep inside my dreams,
Dreaming the final dream, the last

Give me more than you can take,
Then I’ll give us a second chance
We have one life to live,
I’ll give you all I’ve got to give
Like a moonlight, you’re showing me the way,
Like heroine
You course in my veins,
Like a moonlight, you’re showing me the way,
Like heroine
You course in my veins

I like your whispering in the dark
There are whispers of the past
You are hiding deep inside my dreams,
Dreaming the final dream, the last
I like your whispering in the dark
There are whispers of the past
You are hiding deep inside my dreams,
Dreaming the final dream, the last

US Citizens harassed at US Embassy in Egypt

Posted: December 29th, 2009 | Author: Moonstar Silverwolf | Filed under: Uncategorized | View Comments

Eye witness accounts tell us that US Citizens are being “rough”ed up by Egyptian Police outside of US Embassy in Cairo – where is the media’s reporting? Most American’s won’t ever know this happened. Luckily we know this already and citizen journalism is more powerful than ever. Even with passports, it took over 4 hours to get into the Embassy to seek help. Both the US & Egypt support the blockade on Gaza – the largest concentration camp in history – people are dying from lack of food and medicine, cannot rebuild homes & are not allowed to leave. The US is willing to invade Iraq to give them freedoms, supports Iran during an election controversy. But is not willing to aide their own citizens in bringing much needed aid & support to the people of Gaza.

You ask me why I’m pissed, why I am supporting this cause? Ask yourself – why you are not & why you are silent.

We will be hearing reports in the coming days and weeks regarding what is going on in Egypt. This is only going to strengthen my support and give me more reason to change my career into something that will make a difference in this. This year has been a year that has changed me.

Letter to the Editor – I support Gaza Freedom March #GFM

Posted: December 18th, 2009 | Author: Moonstar Silverwolf | Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: , , , | View Comments

I have written a letter that I will submit to local newspapers around my area in support for The Gaza Freedom March. I would like to encourage you all to do the same. You are welcome to use my letter which I am posting below. Adapt it if you wish or use it just as it appears, I do not care. Just don’t expect someone else to do it for you. (If you know you live around me, try to edit the letter enough so that maybe both will be printed.)

If you are a blogger – post something in your blog. Spread the word. As you do, feel free to post a comment here with a link to your posting. Network, share & force the word to get out.

If anyone wants to translate this into another language or share your translated adaptation of a letter like this, if you email me a link to your letter online, I will post it here for others to use as well.

From my heart to you, Palestine will be free.

———-

Dear Editor,

I am writing to express my support for CODEPINK, “The Color Purple” author, Alice Walker, Holocaust survivor, Hedy Epstein and the over 1000 delegates from 42 different countries participating in the Gaza Freedom March in support for the people of Gaza.

One year ago, for 22 straight days, US made and purchased military weapons fell onto Gaza as Israel began a military offensive (Operation Cast Lead) that left more than 1,400 Palestinians dead. Since that time, Israel’s continued blockade of the 1.5 million people left the occupied territory unable to rebuild homes, schools and hospitals. Food and clean drinking water are scarce; electricity is unstable causing many homes unable to maintain proper heating in the cold winter months. Lifting the siege on the people of Gaza has nothing to do with weapons, terrorism or war. It has nothing to do with religion, gender or race. This movement is about humanity’s basic human rights and freedoms.

The Gaza Freedom March, which will take place in Gaza on Dec. 31. Conceived in the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and nonviolent resistance to injustice worldwide, the march will gather people from all over the world to march—hand in hand—with the people of Gaza to demand that the Israelis open the borders.

For more information or to learn how you can help this movement, please visit the organization’s website at www.gazafreedommarch.org.

Sincerely
(Your name)
