I ask not from you any more than you give
Seeking refuge in my heart
My mind races with thoughts
Wishing to stop them
But nothing works
Struggling to sleep
Struggling to dream
I cannot dream more than I already have
You’re impossible, must be a dream
Tormenting me
Torturing me
As I slowly die
Missing your every thought
Your voice
Your mind
Patience, my dear, patience
Heart calms, sleep comes
Angel, you are special
Missing you is torment
But so worth it.
