A Sweet Friend, A New Phone, A New Day

It’s amazing what a difference a day can make. Yesterday was quite a wild ride for me but after sleeping it off some, I have come back fresh again. I did still feel lonely today, but I have some amazing friends on twitter. One of my favorite people ever on there is @SquidzrEZ who has left with her wonderful sister to Palestine and left me all lonely, but she was so sweet that she took a picture of herself with a sad face and sent it to me. I just about lost it and wanted to run across the world and just give her the biggest hug in the world. The reason it was so special was because I was not expecting it and it was just what I needed. Thanks Sweetie.

In other news, I got my new phone today. I chose the Blackberry Bold as much choice. As much as I loved what the iPhone could do for me, I was definitely looking for a business & practical phone rather than one that could give me gadgets. I know I will still want one of those iPhones, but just from the past few hours of working with the Blackberry, I can already tell I love it.

And, I dyed my hair. My hair is naturally a light brown with some natural gold & red in it. I have been dying it over the past 2 years a dark auburn red color as I had started to develop some gray hairs. Well, yesterday, I decided I needed a change and went with black. So my hair is a very dark brown/black now.

    Great choice with BB Bold, I found the Time Magazine app to be pretty neat, so try and get hold of that if you enjoy reading it.

    Showing a pic of my new hair color would require showing a pic of me and I'm not willing to do that on this blog. I try to remain somewhat anonymous for the sake of my profession, my students & myself. Should I ever get into a place where I would feel safe in those situations, then I will reveal myself openly.
